GWCC has many different networking and educational opportunities to help you jump start your success in business.
General Membership Meetings
Our general membership meetings are typically held the first Thursday of every other month starting at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast. The agenda usually includes a knowledge session with a guest speaker, acknowledgement of new members, updates on our events, and an opportunity for member announcements.
Throughout the year GWCC holds forums that bring leaders together to give our members a better understanding of major initiatives, programs and key issues that could impact Guam’s business climate, economy and community.
Guam Tax Plan & Economic Forum – March 9, 2018
Special Knowledge Session with the Commission on Decolonization – May 18, 2017
Guam Wage and Compensation Forum - April 1, 2016
New in 2017, this event is a one‐day women’s creative summit geared toward women in business; entrepreneurs, mothers, and the next generation of young women who are set to make their mark. Attendees get access to a highly curated, impactful one-day program of workshops, mentor sessions, speaker panels as well as food, beauty treatments, photos, gift bags, networking mixers and more.
Trainings & Workshops
GWCC offers its members a wide variety of low cost training and educational workshops. Our workshops give members professional and business development opportunities from professionals who are leaders in their fields. Workshops are offered throughout the year.
Hosted at various member businesses, these events are a great socializing and networking opportunity to connect members with other businesses and the community, help enrich their careers and grow their businesses.
The GWCC Annual Golf Tournament is a day on the greens to network, have fun and enjoy the company of other members and the community. There is something for all on the course or during the awards banquet to participate. All proceeds from the tournament go towards scholarships to deserving students who need a helping hand to pursue their dreams of earning a college degree.
